What the app does

Fine Volume Control adjusts media audio behavior on your device by applying an effect-based fine-tune layer on top of Android's normal media volume steps. If you enable the persistent session option, the app can keep a visible foreground-service notification active after you leave the app so the current fine-tune session continues until you stop it.

Information the app stores

The app stores the following settings locally on your device:

• Your current fine-tune percentage
• Whether persistent session controls are enabled
• Your saved preset values for Quiet, Flat, and Boost

These settings are stored using Android DataStore in the app's private storage area on your device.

Information the app does not collect

• No account, login, or profile information
• No analytics or advertising identifiers
• No crash reporting SDK data
• No contacts, photos, messages, or location data
• No upload of your saved audio preferences to a remote server

Permissions

The app uses the following Android permissions:

• MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS to adjust media-audio behavior and apply the fine-tune effect
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS to show the persistent session notification when you allow notifications
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE to keep a user-initiated audio-control session visible and controllable after the app is closed, when you have enabled that behavior

Data sharing

Fine Volume Control does not sell personal data and does not share your saved settings with third parties for advertising or analytics.
